Stevens Memorial Library - Site Redesign

Brand Discovery
The Stevens Memorial Library is a hub for learning, creativity and community resources for the town of North Andover. We allow local readers to check out books, rent DVDs, access study spaces, and get to know their community more. We are an important part of the history of North Andover and are used by many different types of people in the area.
We are a local branch of the MVLC (Merrimack Valley Library Consortium. Patrons can check out books, access our computers, and go to events. Our website is meant to allow community members to interact with the library while they are away from it. They are able to register for these events, reserve books, and access resources all from their computers.
At Stevens Memorial Library, we are extremely proud of our over 100 year history bringing together the North Andover community. Our recently renovated historic front doors are a perfect encapsulation of what we strive to represent: preserving our historical context while simultaneously looking towards our future.
Target Audiences
Children and Teenagers - 40%
We want kids to be excited to visit their local library and be able to easily find books they are interested in without any technical hurdles. Additionally, as we offer many kid friendly activities, we want this audience to be able to easily access our events page without the need of help from their parents.
Young Adults and Professionals - 15%
While many young adults may not be as interested in engaging with local events or ongoings at the library, they use the site to find and reserve books. Additionally, we want to appeal to teachers and other professionals who are looking for specific resources.
Parents in North Andover - 45%
While these individuals may be interested in accessing books and events for themselves, they are also interested in how the library can enrich the lives of their children. They see the library as a local resource for their kids, and want to inspire their children to become avid readers and learners.
